Oracle Database 11.2.0.4 Support Extended to 2020

A number of Internal and Vendor Applications still run solely on Oracle 11g with no near term plans to upgrade to Oracle 12c.which was first released in 2013.  With the extension of support of 11.2.0.4 to 2020 current applications running on 11.2.0.4 have considerable breathing room to prepare for the eventual upgrade to Oracle 12c.

Moving the support date out to 2020 for Oracle 11g - 11.2.0.4 was a smart decision by Oracle leaving room for current applications running 11g to take a more natural and paced evolution to 12c.
